All flights to Accra arrive at the Kotoka International Airport, the main airport serving Accra in Ghana. It is Ghana's premier international airport. The airport is located approximately 9.7 kilometers from the city's airport. It handles all scheduled passenger services in the city and has excellent connections to major cities around the globe. It has a tropical savanna climate that is semi-arid and little variation in its annual temperatures. It is hot and humid throughout the year.
